The Wonder Twin Power Hour: The Taboo and Tantalization of Tattoos

Full sleeves. I Heart Mom. Butterflies. Tramp Stamps. Memorials of loved ones passed.

Tattoos have been a form of self-expression since before the days of Moses. Some people get them out of rebellion because “nice boys and girls don’t destroy their bodies with that kind of…uhh. They just…don’t!” Others get inked to remind them of someone or something sacred, and it’s their way of keeping that person or dream or concept close to them. And others still go to the bar, lose a bet and wake up with a permanent hangover of another kind.

Regardless of the reasons people decide to get “tatted,” there’s always a story or a stigma that comes along with it – and that stigma that can follow anyone anywhere from their home to their workplace.

In this show, the beautifully decorated Jennifer Flynn and the uni-tatted Danica Trebel will be sharing their personal experiences with getting and having tattoos, as well as their recommendations for people who are on the proverbial fence about getting one/some of their own.
